Top 5 Navigation and Maps Apps on iOS in Norway Q2 2022

During the second quarter of 2022, the performance of the top 5 navigation and maps applications on iOS in Norway showcased interesting trends. According to Sensor Tower data, these apps experienced different patterns in weekly downloads and active users.

Google Maps maintained a strong presence in Norway. Weekly downloads showed an upward trend towards the end of the quarter, peaking at approximately 7.9K in the last week of June. Active users also increased steadily, from around 1.07M at the end of March to about 1.22M by the end of June.

Google Earth saw relatively stable performance in weekly downloads, fluctuating between 1.1K and 2K throughout the quarter. Active users were consistent, hovering around 12K to 14K.

UT.no experienced a significant spike in downloads in mid-April, reaching 1.6K. Active users showed a slight increase, from about 5.2K at the end of March to nearly 6K by the end of June.

BåtFart had a notable increase in downloads, particularly in early June, where weekly downloads surged to over 5.5K. This spike was the highest recorded for the quarter.

Norgeskart also saw growth in downloads, peaking at around 1K in the last week of June. Weekly revenue for Norgeskart showed some fluctuations, with a high of approximately $1.6K in late April.
